mcp-plugins software package provides LADSPA plugins designed for Alsa Modular Synth, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mcp-plugins
mcp-plugins is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mcp-plugins package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mcp-plugins *
You will get with mcp-plugins package name, version, architecture and description in a table
